~/own
Everything you do adds to a folder of plain files. It syncs to your devices end-to-end encrypted, works offline, and your AI can read all of it. Nothing readable ever leaves your machine, and nothing locks you in.
A ledger, a journal, a calendar, your notes. Everything you make stays as ordinary Markdown, CSV, or JSONL in a real folder you control, not trapped inside an app’s cloud.
Open your files with any other program, at any time. Leaving is never a hostage negotiation, because your work was never on our side to begin with.
Because it is just text on disk, your own assistant can read across everything you keep, instead of being walled out by one app at a time.
The apps come and go. The files are yours. The version you install keeps running locally even if its maker moves on, or if we disappear entirely.
Sync is end-to-end encrypted. Your files and their names are encrypted on your device before they travel, and only you and the people you invite hold the keys. Our servers store ciphertext we cannot read.
The promise
Nobody can change the terms on you, retire the feature you depend on, or price you out of your own work.
